Neelam Gorhe, is currently the Deputy Chairperson of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Council. She has attended 6000 seminars on social topics on Marathi, Hindi, and English networks from 2007 till date. She has been a member of the Panchayat State Committee, the Women Empowerment Committee, and the Rural Development Committee. She also played a significant role in recommending essential modifications to a number of women-related laws.
