Rahul Narwekar is currently serving as Speaker of the Maharashtra legislative assembly. As a Governor’s Nominee, Narvekar was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Council in June 2016. Rahul Narwekar currently represents Colaba constituency. On July 3, 2022, he was chosen as Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, making him the second-youngest speaker of any state in the nation (age 44).
